In preparation for the upcoming Spring season, I decided to give intermittent fasting a try for 5 days.


What is intermittent fasting?


Intermittent fasting involves alternating between periods of eating and fasting.


Today, being Monday, my fasting period lasted from 10 pm on Sunday until 1:30 pm on Monday. My food intake will consume in 8-hours.


During this time, I focused on my water intake, morning prayer, reading, and delving into the biblical scripture of Mark 5 verses 1-20, specifically exploring the theme of "Faith" and Matthew 7 verse 7 - 9 focusing on effective prayer.


Additionally, I engaged in a 20-minute high-intensity interval training session that included abs training and stretches.

Post Workout Meal includes


  • 2 eggs

  • 2/3 cup oatmeal made with water and cinnamon

  • 2/3 of raspberries

  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter
